Kalpa Bhadra Kadampa Buddhist Center is located on Wiconisco Street in Harrisburg just off of 2nd Street near Pinnacle Health and Italian Lake. Open to everyone, the center provides a year-round program of meditation classes, workshops, and retreats that offer practical advice on how to apply Buddha's teachings to daily life.

Tuesday Night Classes
Drop in any Tuesday evening for a guided meditation followed by a short talk on applying Buddhist principles to daily life. Time is allowed for questions and answers. The classes are designed to give a broad introduction to Buddhist meditation, ideas, and practice. These classes are open to everyone, and suitable for “drop-in” attendance. Workshops in Pittsburgh: First Saturdays of the Month
Meditation workshops in Pittsburgh take place on the first Saturdays of the month from 1-4pm in the city’s Shadyside neighborhood. A typical workshop consists of two sessions, each including a guided meditation to reduce stress and distractions, and a talk on applying Buddhist principles to daily life. Prayers for World Peace on Sunday Mornings
Join in for a guided meditation, a short teaching on Buddhist philosophy that can be applied to modern life, and of course, sincere prayers for world peace.
