James Izer-Bowman came to a meditation class in York in 2001 to complete a college class assignment and has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism ever since. After helping to start the Foundation Program in Harrisburg, he joined the Teacher Training Program. He is known for his quiet warmth and ability to put complex concepts into everyday language that everyone can relate to. He teaches branch classes in Lancaster.
Lars English is a senior student at Kalpa Bhadra Kadampa Buddhist Center. He teaches General Program classes and serves as the Treasurer for the Center while also working full-time as a Physics professor. Having studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism for many years, he presents Buddha’s teachings in a clear and approachable manner.
John Austin studies on Foundation Program at Kalpa Bhadra Kadampa Buddhist Center. He teaches General Program classes, works for the state government, and has a background as a professional musician. John presents Buddha’s teachings in a sincere and warm-hearted way.
