Becoming a Buddhist: Teachings on Buddhist Refuge Practice

By sincerely going for refuge to Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha we can form a strong foundation for our spiritual practice, accumulate a vast amount of merit, and quickly make progress along the paths that lead to permanent freedom from suffering.  In this course, we will learn the meaning, benefits, and commitments of Buddhist refuge practice.  After the course there will be an optional Refuge Vow Ceremony for those who wish to take refuge vows and formally become a Buddhist.

SCHEDULE

1:00 pm – Teaching and Meditation
4:00 pm – Tea break
4:30 pm – Refuge Vow Ceremony (optional)
