BBQ and Movie

Please come and enjoy a fun afternoon with your Sangha friends.  We’re planning to have a late season cook-out (or just a regular potluck if the weather is cold).  Feel free to bring some vegetarian food to share.
Afterward we have a 40 minute video featuring Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, showing an informal, friendly, and personable side of this renown Teacher.

This event is free, but please RSVP so we know how many people to expect.  Everyone is welcome.

Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness Retreat

This retreat will have 2 sessions with several easy, short,  guided meditations.   Each session will have a talk on the nature of meditation, how to meditate, and how to set up a meditation practice.  In between the two sessions, we’ll have a break with snacks.  This retreat will be beneficial for both experienced and beginning meditators.  It’s always good to practice and learn more about meditation in the company of others!  Everyone is welcome.
