Meditation in York
In our busy lives, we often do not see the connection between our state of mind and our daily experiences. When our mind is peaceful, we are able to remain happy regardless of our circumstances. Similarly, when our mind is agitated, we experience problems and feel stressed. Through practicing meditation we can gradually learn to remove agitation and maintain a peaceful mind all the time.
Each class includes traditional chanted prayers, a short teaching, group discussion, and silent time for contemplation and meditation. Classes are self-contained, but one can attend the entire series as well. No registration required, just drop in!
