SUMMARY:Medicine Buddha Prayers
DESCRIPTION:By practicing the Medicine Buddha Sadhana sincerely\, we receive a special power of body\, speech and mind\, which we can then use to help others through healing actions\, as presented in this Medicine Buddha Prayer. \n\n\n\nWhen the world is pervaded entirely by problems and dangers due to uncontrolled minds and inappropriate actions\, one of the most important practices is that of Medicine Buddha.  \n\n\n\nMedicine Buddha is a Buddha Doctor whose function is to release living beings from outer and inner sickness by bestowing blessings upon them. By relying on Medicine Buddha sincerely\, we can be cured of heavy physical and mental disease\, find release from the internal pain of the three poisons – attachment\, anger and ignorance – and receive protection from many other dangers and obstacles. \n\n\n\nEach Wednesday\, we offer Medicine Buddha Prayers from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm\, which will be guided by Gen Kelsang Chondzin.

SUMMARY:Meditation and Recitation of Solitary Vajrasattva
DESCRIPTION:The practice of cleansing our mind of all delusions and negativity by relying on Vajrasattva\, the Buddha of Purification. Under the influence of deluded minds\, we have engaged in many negative actions\, and as a result we now experience suffering and problems everyday. But we have the opportunity to purify this negativity\, and thus transform our mind and our experience of the world we live in.  \n\n\n\nThe meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva is a powerful practice of purification\, and a quick method to attain future happiness and spiritual realizations. \n\n\n\nEach Thursday\, we offer Vajrasattva Prayers from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm\, which will be guided by long time practitioner and Foundation Program student\, Lars English.
